Itinerary
We will depart from the hotel at approximately 5:00 am, and from there, we head towards Aswan, about 450 km away. After a scenic drive, we will arrive in Aswan by around 11:30 am.
On the first day, we will start by visiting the Sanctuary of Isis on Phila Island, where stunning views seamlessly blend with rich history. Then, we’ll head to the Aswan High Dam, a monumental structure that once protected Egypt from drought and famine. Standing as grand as the pyramids, it remains one of Egypt’s most remarkable feats of engineering. Following that, we will visit the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s famous granite quarry.
Later, we’ll enjoy a late lunch in Aswan, after which we’ll check in to the hotel for the night, giving you a chance to relax and unwind.
On the second day, we will begin our journey early at about 3:00 am, as we drive toward Abu Simbel, the crown jewel of Egyptian temples. You will be mesmerized by the magnificent pharaohs that adorn the temple complex. The drive through the Nubian Desert will take around 3 hours, offering a chance to take in the stunning desert landscape. Afterward, we’ll return to Aswan around noon. Following lunch, we will begin our return trip to Hurghada.
