Your adventure begins with an early pickup from your hotel around 5:30 AM, followed by a scenic drive of approximately 450 km to Aswan. Upon arrival, you’ll visit the beautiful Temple of Isis on Philae Island, where ancient history blends perfectly with stunning Nile views.
Next, explore the impressive Der Staudamm, one of Egypt’s most important modern engineering achievements, protecting the country from floods and drought. Continue to the famous Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan’s granite quarry, offering fascinating insight into ancient Egyptian craftsmanship.
After a late lunch in Aswan, check in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
On the second day, depart early around 3:00 AM for Abu Simbel. Enjoy a breathtaking 3-hour drive through the Nubian Desert before arriving at the spectacular Abu Simbel temples, one of the most magnificent temple complexes in Egypt. Marvel at the colossal statues of Ramses II and discover the remarkable history of this UNESCO World Heritage site.
After exploring Abu Simbel, return to Aswan around 12:00 PM for lunch, then begin your comfortable drive back to Hurghada, completing your unforgettable 2-day journey.
